The mood of a verb refers to manner in which a thought is expressed.
Indicative-expresses a statement, such as I walked to the store.
Interrogative - expresses a question, such as Can you throw the ball?
Imperative - expresses a command, such as Ian, go to bed!
Conditional - expresses an action that depends on other factors or conditions, such as If I can, I will join you.
Subjunctive-expresses a wish, strong desire, or statement contrary to fact, such as I wish you were here.
