CNA TestPrep: CNA Code Status Advance Directives and Patient Issues Quiz
Quiz Overview
Description
Knowing a person's wishes about end of life and emergency care can be extremely beneficial. Medical documents called Advance Directives do just that, allow a person to specify their wishes with regard to medical care. They are designed to provide clear guidance to health care providers as to what interventions are to take place with regard to medical care in critical situations. Having these documents in place reduces the likelihood of a dispute with and among family members and ensures that the person receives the care they desires while avoiding that which they do not.
