Christina Ricci is an American actress who became famous for her role in the 1991 and 1993 Addams Family movies. She was born on February 12th, 1980, in Santa Monica, California, to Sarah (nee Murdoch) and Ralph Ricci. Her mother is a real estate agent and her father is a group therapist and a lawyer. She attended elementary school in New Jersey where her parents had moved the family to. When she was 13 her parents separated and she has reportedly never spoken to her father again. After one year of high school she left to attend New York City's Professional Children's School. Her film debut was as Cher's daughter in the 1990 movie Mermaids. A year later she appeared in The Addams Family and became famous for this role as Wednesday Addams.
