Number Patterns

Sets of numbers can follow patterns. In a pattern, there is a rule that controls which number will come next in the series.
There are many types of number patterns, but two of the main types are arithmetic and geometric patterns.
In an arithmetic pattern, you add or subtract a certain value to get from one number to the next.
