Factors

Factors are two numbers that can be multiplied together to get a product.
When asked to list the factors of a number, you are looking for all of the whole numbers that could be multiplied with other whole numbers to get the given product. Because factors are multiplied together, factors come in pairs and it can be easier to find factors if you think about them as pairs.
