Linking Words and Phrases

When you write an opinion, you should support your opinion with reasons and examples. In your sentences, you can use linking words to connect your opinion to the supporting reasons.
Example: Parrots are interesting animals because they talk. For instance, a parrot will learn to copy words that it hears form humans.
